Cinnamon buns day

On November 18th, we invited the students and staff from NCTU to our office to eat Cinnamon buns with us.The office was crowded and the buns were much appreciated by the visitors. Thank you for joining and hope to see you again!

CITO Opening Ceremony 2015/2016

Time for the first official event of CITO 2015/2016! We welcome you to our opening ceremony where the staff will inform you about the office, Chalmers, Sweden and our relation to NCTU. Moreover, there will be snacks and other fun activities planned for this evening! So if you want to know more about Sweden and hang out with some nice people, please join us and bring your friends with you! See you soon!

Lucia event

In the spirit of Saint Lucia, a Lucia event was held in the office on December 19. In Sweden Lucia is often celebrated by dressing up in white gowns and accessories such as golden stars, candle lights, hats and more. This is often accompanied by christmas carols or poems, and this peculiar concept is visualized below:

Opening Ceremony 2014/2015!

We would like to welcome you to this years opening event of the Chalmers International Taiwan Office (CITO) at NCTU, the 30th of September at 6:30 pm. During the evening there will be some light snacks, information about the office, Sweden and Chalmers, fun competitions and, most of all, a lot of nice people to get to know! If you are even a little bit interested in studying in Sweden or just in having a good time, you definitely should come see us!

Movie Night + Semla!

The last event of CITO 2013/2014’s in Taiwan was held and we were really glad to see you all one last time! As usual, we showed a good Swedish Movie, called “I rymden finns inga känslor”. This time around we also offered a classic Swedish pastry, the “semla”. Thanks to everyone who came by, and thanks for a great year. We in CITO 2013/2014 all hope to see you again sometime in the future!

Movie Night, again!

Our specialty returned! We held yet another movie night at our office. This time we showed the movie called Snabba Cash (Easy Money in English) that was released in Sweden 2010. The movie is based on the novel written by Jens Lapidus and it proved to be full of suspense. Well over 30 people in the audience, thanks all for coming!

NCTU Anniversary celebrations!

Thanks everyone who visited the CITO booth at the NCTU Anniversary celebration! The Swedish “Kokosbollar” proved very poular, along with other types of Swedish candy! The typical Swedish games kubb, potatoe on a spoon and the classic put a pen in the bottle were also enjoyed by a lot of people. Again, thanks to everyone who stopped by!
