December 2nd CITO made a (quite early) Lucia performance on NCTU. We started by performing on the administration meeting of NCTU. After that we held another performance in our office. We also served everyone who watched traditional Swedish Christmas sweets. We hope you all enjoyed the performance, even though the high pitched notes of “Tipp tapp” gave us a bit of trouble!
On November 30th, CITO arranged a Cinnamon Bun Day event where a literal mountain of cinnamon buns was consumed. Other than the eating of cinnamon buns, some Swedish words were taught to the guests of the event. We are so happy that so many people showed up, and would like to thank everyone who attended the event! Stay tuned for more updates and events from us in the future!
The 21st of November, CITO had a booth at International Week on NCTU. We handed out gingerbread cookies, “glögg” and the new issue of Asia Magazine. Among other things, we talked to the NCTU students about studying in Sweden and what the actual ingredients in “glögg” are. We had a lot of fun, thank you all for stopping by our booth!

On November 25th to 26th, we attended International Week of NCTU where international students presented their home universities and cultures. The first day(25th), we held a presentation about Chalmers and Sweden. The next day(26th) we invited visitors to our booth where we let them try Swedish crispbread with cheese, gingerbread and mull wine. The visitors were also taught how to play Swedish Kubb. We hope that the visitors enjoyed it and got more taste of Swedish culture.
