Lucia celebrations!

CITO brought the classic Swedish way of celebrating Lucia on December the 13th to Taiwan! The CITO members sang lucia songs, including the song that is always sung at the beginning and at the end, “Sankta Lucia”, in both Swedish and Chinese! We sang for everyone who dared listen to us at our office in the evening. We performed for NCTU’s international student relations staff. There was a surprise in store for us though – the international student relations staff suggested that we should also perform at the morning meeting that was going to be held with all the department deans and the head dean! We obliged, and it seems that they enjoyed the performance – we received a gift of chocolates afterwards! Jointly with all performances we also offered “lussebullar”, saffron flavoured buns along with “glögg”, warm swedish mulled wine.
